oh, life...
so, it's day...NINE? and quickly approaching day ten...actually, it IS day ten. things have been more than words can say. and i can still safely say that i appreciate every single person on this tour. and that's a great feeling.
speaking of appreciating good company, while much of the cast spent a grand night in NYC, a bunch of the guys decided to chill in jersey...and i decided to be one of the guys. and i do not regret it one bit. hahaha, these guys on the road are quite the characters, and they definitely know how to unwind with style. i'll take their company over the big apple any day...
and by far, my favorite place yet has been in New Hampshire up on a mountain surrounded by the grounds of "His Mansion", this little community whose purpose is to help those who are hurting due to addictions and abuse and guide them into turning their lives around. i was so moved by some of the stories i got to hear. you never really think about people with addictions as people, but more of a problem. however, these people were remarkable, and their renewed lives was more than refreshing for me to experience. mmmmm....absolutely beautiful. not to mention how picturesque the setting was. absolutely indescribable.
right now cara and i are staying with bill & maria, who graciously have allowed us to use their internet. *sigh* it's been quite a day.
i am reminded of a quote from anne of green gables: "tomorrow's always fresh, with no mistakes in it." it's a new day, folks. time to do some laundry. goodnight, world.
